JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) bir programlama dili değildir. XML alternatifidir. İsmini, Javascript obje formatına benzeyişinden almıştır. XML’e göre daha basit ve anlaşılır bir yapısı olduğu için tercih edilir. XML’deki gibi tag yoktur. Küme parantezleri ve “string”ler vardır.
